Fit Tips

• Focus on daily behavior rather than results: set daily goals.

• Eat approximately every 3 hours.

• Drink a minimum of 8 - 8oz glasses of water daily.

• Acceptable beverages: diet soda, unsweetened iced tea, crystal lite and water.

• Try to steer clear of processed carbohydrates containing flour (pasta, breads, crackers etc.) and refined sugars (honey, corn syrup, dextrose and maltose.

• Always use fresh fruits and vegetables when possible (as opposed to canned or frozen).
Limit tropical fruits such as bananas, pineapples, grapes, papayas etc. as they are much more concentrated in sugar than melons and berries.

• Use splenda or 100% fruit jam to sweeten oatmeal or top protein pancake.

• Use Lo-Cal NO ADDED SUGAR condiments, spices and fat free dressings to flavor food

• Sugar Free Jello, popsicles, tea with splenda, diet sodas are great to curb sugar cravings.
