Melissa Merritt is 26 years old, and lives in Austin, TX. She is a personal trainer, figure competitor, and fitness model. Melissa is extremely passionate about health and fitness, and loves her job because she helps others achieve their goals.
Melissa loves a challenge and is constantly setting new goals for herself. In 2008, her goal was to enter her first Figure Competition, something that she wanted to do for a long time. Her first competition was in NPC Lackland Classic and she placed 2nd. Two weeks later, Melissa competed in a National Event in Las Vegas called the Fitness America Pageant. She was awarded the title of Ms. Figure America on November 21, 2008.

I am so excited to take advantage of every amazing opportunity that comes my way in 2009! I will be competing in the first NPC show of the year, the West Texas Classic, where I hope to qualify for the nationals.”
Melissa’s ultimate dream is to obtain her Pro card, grace the pages of fitness magazines, and help/inspire others to lead a healthy lifestyle while reaching for the stars! Life is too short to waste time doing anything other than what you love!
