Brief Bio: I was always athletic growing up as a kid, but never really found a passion for any sports. I have always had Friends that were into the gym and a couple that even competed. After I saw my first show I knew what I wanted to do. I spent a few years in and out of the gym but never really made much progress. A few years ago I met a couple guys that were pretty serious and had convinced me to train for my first show.
The Utah Golds Gym Classic! I spent 6 months training and trying to make improvements and I noticed my body was responding very well to all of it. I finally stepped on stage and took 1st place in the open heavyweight class! From that point on, I was hooked! Every part of my life changed and I devoted myself to bodybuilding.
I competed again in 2010 and placed 3rd in the Heavies at the Northern Colorado championships! Dissapointed with my placing I decided it was time to really step it up and make something for myself in this sport! I called upon iForce's own Dusty Hanshaw to help me finally have a productive offseason and go into 2011 ready to make an impact!
I am currently training DC style and have so far had my best offseason yet. I plan to step on stage later this year and move on the Nationals and hopefully live out my dream of becoming an IFBB pro! With the help and support from iForce Nutrition and my friends and family, I am sure my dream will be fullfilled!
Current training style is DC training... it changes weekly but here is a rough idea.
Monday-Chest, Shoulders, Triceps
Tuesday-Back Width, Back Thickness, Biceps and Forearms
Wednesday-REST
Thursday-Calves, Hams and Quads
Friday-Chest, Shoulders, Triceps,
(Friday is always the same as what I started with on Mondays! So next week lets say I start with legs, then Friday I will hit legs again, and so on....)
