Leading into my prep I am trying something new with my nutrition by eating a bit more in the beginning and slowly lowering my foods as needed. That being said at no point will I make the mistake of starving myself. Below is a general outline of where my prep has begun and throughout my journey to the stage I will be making minor adjustments as needed to ensure that I arrive on stage both conditioned and full. As far as training goes I am sticking with the program that was outlined for me by Dante Trudel who is the “father” of DC Training. The basic rundown of DC Training is constant progression of strength in a controlled and safe manner. The idea is that if an athlete is constantly getting stronger in a controlled manner with training while also following a proper nutrition program and resting then growth is the result. One thing that will surprise many is the low volume of training that I follow in order to put on mA$$ both in my offseason as well as to maintain fullness leading into the show. Over the next few weeks I will be keeping a journal of my training on the site to show what I am doing as well as the weights and rep speeds that I am using. That being said I will be leaving out a few things that were added to the program by Dante to bring up weak points on my physique that aren’t necessary for every athlete and will only cause confusion to those who want to try DC Training for themselves.
We are really looking forward to tracking your progress all the way through the show. This is the year Dusty busts into all new opportunities and IFORCE is proud to have him on our team.
Dusty, it was great to meet you at the Europa. I was going to come by the booth again to BS but my contest did not end until almost 7pm and I was starving. Good luck with your contest prep.

Thanks Dave. I really appreciate all that IForce has done for me and I look forward to working my way up the ranks as an IForce athlete.

Thanks Ryan. Yeah the show did go pretty late but it was a great event and the quality of the athletes this year was awesome. I can't wait to see how big the show is come 2009. Hope all is well and business is booming.
Sorry for the late reply. I am currently doing 60minutes on the stepmill on level 6. It's not a bad pace but I really try to focus on the squeeze with every step.
